WBENC
Women's Business Enterprise National Council
— Diversity Certification

WBENC Certified.

National Women's Business Enterprise certification: the standard for supplier diversity programs in the United States.

Thunderhawk is a nationally certified Women's Business Enterprise through WBENC, the largest third-party certifier of women-owned businesses in the United States. WBENC certification involves a rigorous review including documentation of ownership, control of operations, financial management, and ongoing recertification audits.

For procurement programs, WBENC certification is the most widely recognized credential for diverse-supplier inclusion. It is the standard accepted by most Fortune 500 supplier diversity programs, and it qualifies Thunderhawk for inclusion in Tier 1 diverse-supplier categories at major MSP and direct-purchase programs.

WOSB
SBA Women-Owned Small Business Program
— Federal Certification

WOSB Certified.

SBA Women-Owned Small Business: the federal credential that unlocks federal contracting and prime-contractor subcontracting eligibility.

Thunderhawk is a federally certified Women-Owned Small Business under the SBA WOSB Program (13 C.F.R. part 127). The certification was awarded by the Greater Women's Business Council acting as an SBA-approved third-party certifier under the Third Party Agreement. Majority female owner of record: Jennifer Genevieve D'Silva.

WOSB certification matters two ways. It makes Thunderhawk eligible for WOSB set-aside contracts, which only certified firms can bid on. And it makes us an eligible counter-party for federal primes carrying mandatory small-business subcontracting goals, whom we support as their workforce partner.

SOC 2 Type I aligned.

AICPA-framework controls aligned for security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy of client data.

Thunderhawk is SOC 2 Type I aligned, with controls designed and implemented per the AICPA Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy of client and consultant data. Type I attestation reflects the design suitability of our controls at a point in time.

For enterprise clients, especially in regulated industries, SOC 2 alignment matters because we process sensitive candidate data, contract documentation, and engagement information. The framework gives your security teams the audit trail and control discipline to approve our data handling without lengthy due-diligence cycles.

Why these credentials matter to you.

The operational reasons procurement leaders and federal BD teams care about credentials, not in the abstract but in the specific ways our certifications change what working with Thunderhawk looks like.

Tier 1 commercial supplier diversity.

WBENC certification qualifies us for the majority of Fortune 500 supplier diversity programs without secondary certification. Our diverse-spend allocation counts toward your program's reported targets immediately on engagement.

Federal subcontracting eligibility.

WOSB plus CAGE plus active SAM registration means we are an eligible counter-party for federal prime contractors carrying mandatory small-business subcontracting goals, and for systems integrators whose federal engagements need workforce support that satisfies those goals.

Audit trail and information security.

SOC 2 Type I alignment means your information security and risk teams can review our control documentation as standard due diligence. We pass the vendor-risk assessments that block other firms at intake.

Diversity that performs operationally.

The combination of two diverse-supplier credentials, federal eligibility, and operational discipline is rare. Most firms have one. Procurement leaders looking for credential-rich firms that perform at non-diverse Tier 1 standards are looking for firms like Thunderhawk specifically.
